First employee and longest-tenured senior consultant at BTY Gruppen — a Norwegian sales and development firm built on the principle of Better Than Yesterday. I help build client wins on the consulting side and the culture that makes the team deliver them on the community side.
My day-to-day sits at the intersection of consulting work for BTY’s clients and the responsibility for the culture that makes the team deliver. Two hats, one mission.
Senior Consultant. I was the very first employee at BTY Gruppen and remain the longest-tenured consultant in the firm. On the client side I work across BTY’s three core disciplines — sales, meeting booking and recruitment — building partnerships with Norwegian and international companies that need an external partner who actually takes ownership.
Community Manager. Culture at BTY is not an afterthought; it is the product. I own the firm’s social calendar end-to-end: payday celebrations, Sunday Workshop, Workout Wednesday and the social events that hold a young, ambitious team together. The goal is simple — make Monday something people look forward to, so that what we deliver to clients is uncompromising.
Quality over volume, personal relationships and an authentic approach. Field sales and full sales operations for partners like Talkmore and AMFI shopping centres.
Qualified meetings with bespoke setups and tighter control of the funnel. International work across Norway, the UK, the US and the rest of Scandinavia.
Brand-led recruitment with effective outcomes and more control over the result — bringing the right people in for partners who need to scale.
BTY’s goal is simple: build an environment where people are forced to get better and look forward to Mondays. As Community Manager I own the rituals that make that real — every event, every payday, every workshop.
BTY Gruppen partners with companies that demand more than a typical sales agency — these are some of the names behind that work.
What I bring into the BTY role comes from three places: years abroad, a year leading recruits in the Norwegian Army, and a finance degree I’m taking in parallel with my work.
I grew up between Norway and Shanghai, where I attended one of the city’s leading international schools. Travel to more than forty countries taught me to read rooms across cultures — useful currency when you build sales relationships for a living.
After upper secondary school I completed a twelve-month national service in the Norwegian Army HSRF Battalion. I was promoted as platoon assistant and later selected as squad leader, where I was responsible for training three contingents of recruits. The army sharpened how I approach pressure, decision-making and responsibility for other people’s growth — the same skill set I now use to develop and support the team at BTY.
In parallel with my work I am pursuing a Bachelor of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School (2024–2027), and I manage a personal portfolio of Norwegian and US equities. Sales today, finance tomorrow — the trajectory is intentional.
A path built deliberately across education, work, military leadership and now consulting — each stage adding something the next one builds on.
Four areas that bring my background together: consulting and sales first, with finance, leadership and international business as the foundations underneath.

Whether the topic is a partnership for BTY, an internship, investing or simply an introduction — I’m always happy to connect with people building interesting things.
